We strive to create safe spaces that are sensitive to the needs of each child.
Children can come to school with experiences that can make it more difficult to learn and form healthy interactions with others.
For some, short or long-term negative experiences can affect the child's ability to regulate their emotions, especially when they are in a new environment or if things don't go their way.
It is our desire to create a school environment where every child feels safe.
In our classrooms you will notice calm music, quiet corners and chill-out zones where a child can retreat if they are feeling overwhelmed, unsettled or simply need space away from others to help them self-regulate.
