When the time arrives, we'll help prepare your child to continue their education at a Catholic, independent or government high school.
Just like starting school, transitioning from primary school to high school is another important step in the education of your child.
When your child is in their final year, she or he will attend information days at the chosen secondary school with friends who will be commencing with them. It isn't uncommon for your child to have encountered students from the high school they will go to through music, sports and culture exchanges.
In line with the strategic direction of Catholic Education South Australia, St Augustine's School will become a Reception to Year 6 school in 2019 as Year 7 becomes the first year of education in Catholic High Schools.
High school options in the Salisbury area
Thomas More College is the secondary school in the Salisbury Parish and is the natural progression for many of our students. We have a particularly good relationship with the school.
Providing flexibility in curriculum and academic pathways, Thomas More has a well-being structure which supports the social and emotional growth of young adolescents.
